It does everything it says it does. Pretty much take care of it, and it'll take care of you. This mat is worth replacing your fabric one, especially for absorbing that extra water on your feet so you won't track it everywhere and your feet stay dry. I highly recommend it!

I previously bought a soft diatomaceous earth bath mat, but it barely absorbed any water. There would be a puddle underneath the mat, and I had to spend extra time drying it up—which completely defeats the purpose of having a bath mat! 😂This time I decided to try the hard stone version, and it’s SO much better. As soon as I step on it with wet feet, the water gets absorbed almost immediately and my feet feel dry. 🥹So happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it!
